RidgeRun has developed a GStreamer plug-in that enables up to 360-degree video display on Meta Quest VR devices. This is an Android plugin that initializes, builds, and reproduces GStreamer pipelines. It works in conjunction with the Unity Development Platform, which provides the surface for rendering the video in a 360-degree view, creating an immersive VR experience.
This plugin leverages GStreamer to offer a low latency solution to process, decode and render video streams in the Meta Quest.
