Engineering Support
The RidgeRun Embedded Test Orchestrator provides the framework required to execute automated tests. Each customer remains responsible for defining the validation coverage and acceptance criteria required by its product and QA process.
Customers enrolled in an active RidgeRun Engineering Services subscription may request test development for features implemented by RidgeRun as part of that engagement.

Example Use Case
An embedded product team continuously adds drivers, hardware support, and new system functionality. Before every release, developers and QA engineers must manually validate cameras, networking, storage, USB devices, and other platform features.
With RidgeRun Embedded Test Orchestrator, the team can create reusable test suites and execute them on the target hardware throughout development. Results and logs are collected automatically, helping developers identify regressions while the relevant software changes are still recent.

The platform is designed to provide frequent feedback during development, similar to how unit tests help detect software problems early. The customer remains responsible for reviewing test coverage and ensuring that its validation process meets company, industry, and regulatory requirements.
