GstPTZR – GPU-Accelerated Digital Pan, Tilt, Zoom & Rotate for GStreamer

GstPTZR is a GStreamer plugin developed by RidgeRun to emulate Pan, Tilt, Zoom, and Rotate (PTZR) camera functionality using OpenGL-accelerated digital transformations. This allows you to simulate physical camera movement over a static video frame—ideal for embedded systems, robotics, and surveillance applications that need dynamic framing without mechanical components.

Designed for real-time performance on resource-constrained platforms, GstPTZR lets you manipulate the region of interest (ROI) in your video stream—in real time and at runtime—through standard GStreamer properties.
