Image signal processing is an essential component in many modern embedded systems, yet very resource intensive. FPGAs are an ideal popular companion due to their flexibility, high performance and low power consumption. FPGA ISP is a set of FPGA modules that perform common enhancement operations over a real-time image stream. Based on RidgeRun's V4L2-FPGA project, accelerators are easily accessed through V4L2 devices.
