What Is Included
Initial CIP-Based Linux Support Package
Receive the initial integration package that combines NVIDIA's Jetson BSP with the long-term maintained Linux kernel from the Civil Infrastructure Platform (CIP) project. This package provides a solid foundation for Jetson Xavier platforms.
Validated NVIDIA Integration
Validated on the NVIDIA Jetson Xavier Developer Kit to verify compatibility between NVIDIA's Jetson software stack and the CIP Linux kernel. Validation covers core platform components including display, storage, networking, USB, PCIe, audio, and other essential system functionality, reducing integration effort and deployment risk.
See our full test suite here: Release History & Testing
Compatible with NVIDIA Multimedia and Hardware Accelerated Features
Supports NVIDIA's multimedia framework, GPU acceleration, camera subsystem and rendering stack used in embedded applications.
Initial Engineering Support
The Initial CIP-Based Linux Support Package requires a minimum three-month Half Subscription (not included in the price of the initial Initial CIP-Based Linux Support Package). This initial engagement provides dedicated engineering support to successfully integrate the CIP-based Linux platform into your product, including platform bring-up, BSP integration, kernel debugging, issue resolution, and technical guidance throughout the initial deployment.

Example Use Case
A drone company has hundreds of deployed systems based on NVIDIA Jetson AGX Xavier that are expected to remain operational well beyond the JetPack 5 support lifecycle. Migrating to newer hardware would require costly software redevelopment and regulatory re-certification.
By adopting RidgeRun's Xavier Long-Term Linux Platform, the company can continue using its existing hardware while benefiting from a kernel support that integrates the long-term Linux maintenance provided by the Civil Infrastructure Platform (CIP) project with NVIDIA's software stack. As new CIP releases become available, the company can engage RidgeRun to integrate and validate those updates according to its product roadmap.
Supported Platforms
Hardware
- NVIDIA Jetson AGX Xavier
Software
- NVIDIA JetPack 5
- Linux 5.10 (Civil Infrastructure Platform - CIP)
